update: I added some info to the tutorial

...also, sometimes I still have to use tools to get lint off of lint that is embedded too tightly to the clay >.<.

I don't find much lint it my clay, but other bits of different colors get stuck in my current clay. It stinks. Especially when I'm using translucent clay.

True, that happens to me especially when I use red lol. I wipe my fingers on babywipes or paper towels between colors to help avoid that :D

Oh wow. I was somehow sceptical about this tip, thinking of all the lint that gets inside the clay, and is still visible through the surface...but if you press the tape a bit firmer/keep it a bit longer, it removes a thin layer of clay, too! And all those nasty little hair can be removed in several steps. =P So thanks very much for the advice! :highfive:

yeah this hapens sometimes... but whats worse to me is getting a bunch of colours mixed together on the blades...then when you are cutting the clay it ends up looking a mess....
