I'm sure you're overbrudened with questions, and if you are it's alright but can you explain the use of resin to me? Or maybe a link to somewhere that already has it explained? I don't even know how or where to start looking...
If you don't mind, I'd like to answer your question in my end of the month FAQ, which I will post in my miniature group . This question has been asked a few times now and I'd like to make a post on it =]. I will link you to the post when it's done .
I bought it in Hong Kong and there weren't labels on it. It might be epoxy resin, but I'm not positive =\. I sell it though. It comes in two small bottles, a part A and a part B (1:3 ratio). Even though the bottles are small, the resin lasts a longgggg time. I've used mine for many pieces and still have half the bottle left. I'm going to sell it for $29. Let me know if you're interested XD ($2 shipping within the US).
Here's a little tip that I learned with Glazing: Sometimes my glaze (Sculpey Satin) gets a little thick, and when I brush it on, you can see the brush marks even if you use a really soft brush. >_< It looks hidious, like the charm is melting. >_> So I fix it by dipping the brush into the tiniest bit of water, and brush over the glaze when it's still wet. It smooths it out perfectly. You should try it if you have the same problems.
Hmmm I'll add it to my list of possible tutorials =]. If I do make a fish one, it will be on youtube because it would be too long to take pictures of haha. I will always post a deviation saying video tutorial on it so you will be notified =].
