Hi. I have alot of questions...........where do you get the resin, where do you get the long glass beads, and where do you get the resin? =) Haha. Great tips! I didn't even think of the straw! =D

I get the resin in Hong Kong, but you can find it in craft stores, it should be expoxy resin. It comes in 2 bottles, one is a resin and the other is the hardener. The beads were from craft store, like Michael's in the bead section.

What is your cup made out of/from?

The cups are plastic. I actually bought them in a craft store, they were meant to be cups so I didn't get them from other things (ie: pen caps, etc).

Nice tutorial! Those aren't real lemons, are they?! (tease)

You know, I bet if you plugged the end with some clear glue (like Weldbond) beforehand (let dry) it would stop the draw process.

What a lovely tip this helps loads.

I was also thinking if you put a tiny spot of superglue in one end of the straw and let it set then you can put the straw into the drink straight away as the resin wont have anywhere to go.....i think this will work i hope it helps you :D

I should have read yours before commenting. Superglue is a fantastic idea, dries clear and fast, too.

Nice lemonade, good tips :-)

What I'm curious about is what you should use to make the tumblers. Some of the things I've seen are expensive and wasteful; there's got to be an easier way. Got any secrets to share?

Yay! I'm glad this was helpful.

Hmmm what exactly do you mean by tumbler? Like how to make a tumbler (drink holder) from polymer clay?

yeah, the drink holder. i've seen a tutorial on youtube where they bought cheap pens from the dollar store and took off the top cap and threw the pen away and used the top as a cup, which is pretty expensive and wasteful, even if it made the most perfect cup. i didn't know if you had something better that you've used.

OH I saw that tutorial too! That really is a waste. If I think of anything, I'll make a post on it =].

That would be fantastic! I find myself looking at things seeing if they can be used for clay food projects all the time.
