Those are pretty! I can see some ridges though, have you tried molding fine details with surgical gloves before? They're so smooth they don't leave behind fingerprints.

Also, rubbing alcohol can smooth ridges and blend clay, though it's tricky to apply in such tiny spots. It's also good for cleaning tools - the super concentrated stuff works best.

Cheers^^

I tried gloves a long time ago haha, I'm not sure if I used wrong ones or what, but the clay kept sticking to my gloves so I gave up on gloves XD. Rubbing alcohol does help =]. I've also noticed that stiffer clay is better, prints don't stick as easily on harder clay haha.

OH btw, don't buy the 8 lbs. box of sculpey white clay...the clay is SO soft it's like gum...-___- horrible. Prints, dust, and everything else sticks to it like a magnet. bleh~

I need to try and find a better way to rub off prints on small pieces =]. Thanks for your input! =]

Yeah, I hear ya. I get more of that stuff stuck on my fingers than I do on my projects! :)

If you've a lot of Sculpey clay, mix it with something else like Fimo or Primo. It thickens it up and is good for dolls (strength) than Sculpey alone.^^

oh good idea. I haven't actually tried making dolls before hmmmm might be an interesting project for the future =]. I have been making a lot of mini cakes with white bases so I can use up some of that white sculpey haha
