This is amazing. i'm especially impressed by the grapes, you got the colors perfectly. Are the baskets made from clay as well?

what's the fruit stand itself made of?

:iconsmallcreationsbymel:

it was made from foamcore. It is like styrofoam boards but thicker and harder. The shelves were made from plywood, thin pieces of wood =].

You're most welcome.
My mum didn't believe me when I told her they were miniatures. She was so convinced they were real. :')

Keep it up! <33

I think your strawberries and grapes are a bit too big in scale compared to the other fruits, but it must have been a pain to do something that small anyway xD But though it does exist manipulated fruiots so Ive seen big strawberries and big grapes :D MMMMmmmm!

For the air dry clay? I'm not sure what brand, but I have heard of Grace. Grace should work fine =], you just have to mix some oil paint into it to get the color you want.

thanks! because when i used Hearty clay it would have finger prints on it, but yours look so smooth

I usually run my fingers over the clay as a last step to smooth out the fingerprints XD. Also, fruit is easy not to leave fingerprints because they have texture. The texture covers up the fingerprints haha :D
